What began as a small group of people who wanted to help has grown into a community committed to lifting families through their hardest days.
Harbor & Hope is a young nonprofit with a deep purpose. We were founded after seeing too many families in our own community fall through the cracks during a crisis — a lost job, a medical emergency, an unexpected bill that spiraled.
We believe hardship can happen to anyone, and that the right help at the right moment can change the course of a life. So we set out to be a harbor: a safe place to come ashore, regroup, and find the way forward — and the hope to keep going.
We meet every person with respect and compassion — never judgment. Asking for help takes courage, and we honor that.
We don’t just give; we connect. Lasting change happens when neighbors show up for one another.
Hope isn’t passive. We pair encouragement with real, practical help that moves people forward.
We steward every gift carefully and openly, so our donors and neighbors always know the impact of their support.
